But if you're not already a member you'll be pleased to hear that standard membership of LostCousins is FREE, and it's also FREE to register.

So if you are studying your family history, register now so that you can start searching for other researchers who share your ancestors. You don't have to be a member to see our online newsletter, but if you are, we'll let you know when a new issue is available (unless you ask us not to, of course).

Although you can upgrade your membership and support the LostCousins project by paying a subscription, it's OPTIONAL - every year there are several free weekends when all members have subscriber status. (At other times only subscribers can initiate contact with someone new - so becoming a subscriber cuts out the waiting time.)

How much does it cost if you decide to upgrade? Just £10 for a one-year subscription, or £12.50 for a joint subscription which covers two accounts (husband and wife, parent and child, or grandparent and grandchild). Subscriptions are NOT renewed automatically, nor do we keep your credit card information on file - it's entirely up to you whether you choose to continue as a subscriber. If you don't renew then you'll revert to standard membership, but you'll still have access to all the data you've entered and all the contacts you've made!
