This page will record your living relatives, and enable you to make contact with them, even if you don't have their email address.

When we discover a cousin of yours an entry appears in the New Contacts section of this page. At first you won't know their name, and they won't know yours. Only when you have both agreed to make contact will the names be revealed, and at this point the entry will move to the main My Cousins section.

You can exchange email addresses at any time - but only so long as you both agree. There's no need to disclose your email address until you're completely happy to do so, because you can correspond using the Send message buttons on this page for as long as you like.

See Getting Started for more information.
