Over 100 million relatives!
27th February 2009
LostCousins members are more experienced than the average researcher according to the results of a survey sent to a randomised sample of members.
The survey results show that the 'average' LostCousins member is:
* aged 59
* has been researching for 10 years or more
* has between 1000-2000 relatives on their family tree
The total number of relatives on all members' family trees is over 100 million! Fortunately the unique LostCousins matching system doesn't require members to enter their entire tree - the focus is on relatives who were recorded in the British and North American censuses of 1880/81.The Getting Started page explains how to complete your My Ancestors page in simple steps - it's so quick and easy that you'll wonder why you haven't done it before!
